These demons held her for over a year.
This video was released during a trial, and it shows a 17-year-old girl escaping her kidnappers who held her for over a year.
She was saved by good citizens who were there and witnessed the whole incident. Once the trafficker realized he was outnumbered, he left the scene by himself leaving the girl behind.
The video footage was recorded in broad daylight at Plano’s bustling Shops at Legacy, a popular urban shopping and entertainment center in January of 2021, and surfaced recently in the trial of a now-convicted human trafficker, Ricky Stevenson. As Stevenson walked towards the driver’s side of his car, the young victim made an escape attempt, only to be thrown back into the vehicle and have the door slammed on her before jumping out of the car again and running towards a group of citizens who’d started trying to intervene.
Stevenson (the suspects last name) who had kidnapped the girl when she was 16, sped off and fled the scene. He was later caught and sentenced to 59 years in prison on a number of felonies related to human trafficking, including sex crimes.
Unfortunately, the victim left the state of Texas and is no longer in contact with authorities in Texas.
