Just days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approved Pfizer vaccines for children ages 6 months to 5 years old, Publix confirmed that they will not offer vaccinations to anyone under 5 years old.

A Publix spokesperson told the Tampa Bay Times and WTVT on Wednesday that their grocery store chain would not offer the vaccine to children under the age of 5. The grocery giant never gave a clear reason to why they refuse to offer the vaccines to children under 5.

The website for Publix still shows that they are taking appointments for children over the age of 5. Publix also still provides the vaccine to adults.
