Bill Gates Tells Elon Musk to Buy Vaccines Instead of Going to Mars
Bill Gates has reignited an old feud with Elon Musk by attacking his ambition to get to Mars.
Gates, 67, said during a very boring interview with the BBC that was released on Friday that although Musk was having a positive impact on the world through Tesla, he did not consider him to be a real 'philanthropist' like Warren Buffet, Jeff Bezos and himself.
Bill Gates states in the interview that his life mission was to change the world through philanthropy. He claims this is why he founded the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation with his ex-wife, Melinda. He claimed it was to provide healthcare and reduce poverty around the world.
Of course, he never made any real progress because the whole foundation was a scam and it was a cover to collect money from “donors’ looking for political favors in return. Gates is very well connected to many governments around the world and has the power and pull to make just about anything happen for anyone willing to pay.
Later in the interview, Bill Gates starts to attack Elon Musk and his ambitious goals of going to the red planet.
When asked by the interviewer, Amol Rajan. if going to Mars was a good idea and a good use of money, Gates replied: “Not in my view.”
Gates also went on to say: 'It's actually quite expensive to go to Mars. You can buy measles vaccines and save lives for $1,000 per life saved,' he said, explaining traveling to space is not a cost-effective way to save lives. 'And so [that] just kind of grounds you, as in - don't go to Mars.'
